The British Council IELTS Scholarship Award for 2013
The British Council IELTS Scholarship Award was launched with the objective of supporting Indian students intending to study in an English-speaking country. Most importantly, it is a commitment to realising British Councils aspiration of enabling young people to achieve their life goals.
The scholarship will award Eight IELTS candidates INR 300,000 each towards the cost of tuition fees.

IELTS Registration Requirments

Exam Duration: 3 Hours.
2 hours and 45 minutes for Reading, Writing and Listening. 15 minutes for Speaking module.
Band system measures scores from 0 to 9. There is no pass or fail system in IELTS. However, every university has a minimum requirement of score, desired to secure your place at the respective university.
IELTS is conducted by BCL & IDP. IELTS tests the complete range of English language skills. Eligible for immigration. Candidates are tested in Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. It is mandatory if one wishes to study in Australia and the scores are accepted by over 2500 US Universities, Universities in UK, CANADA, NEW ZEALAND, DUBAI & SINGAPORE etc.
